Erik J. Krueger

Erik J. Krueger is a graduate of Liberty University School of Law in Lynchburg, Virginia. He graduated with cum laude honors and served as an editor of the Liberty University Law Review. He obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he is a second-generation alumnus.

During law school, Erik worked for Liberty Counsel, one of the premier public-interest litigation firms in the United States. There, he earned experience in First Amendment litigation. He also interned at the Virginia Court of Appeals and the Wisconsin Supreme Court.

Erik began his career as a special prosecutor with the Waukesha County District Attorney’s Office, where he tried traffic offenses, made charging decisions, and made bail and sentencing recommendations. Subsequently, he worked at a small, general practice firm in Brookfield, Wisconsin for over ten years where he gained valuable experience working his clients’ cases from start to finish, with an emphasis on family law and civil litigation.

At Hildebrand Law Firm, Erik concentrates his practice on real estate disputes, small business matters, and trust and estate litigation. Erik has personally handled hundreds of client litigation matters and has experience in pretrial negotiations, discovery, mediation, and trial. While a capable litigator, Erik is mindful of the costs, risks, and overall inefficiency of litigation, and takes pride in identifying and achieving a resolution for his clients that is the best fit for them.

In his spare time, Erik follows the Wisconsin Badgers and enjoys spending time with his wife (who is also an attorney) and their three children. He is a member of the Peace Lutheran Church in Sussex.
