Andrew joined the firm in 2021 after practicing at a large firm in the Milwaukee area, where his focus included a wide range of litigation areas, including constitutional law, torts, contract law, business law, municipal law, and insurance defense.
During his time in practice, he has handled cases at all levels of civil litigation in both state and federal courts, focusing on matters involving complex issues and extensive briefing and motion practice. Andrew spent over two years as a judicial law clerk, first for the Honorable Clare Fiorenza at the Milwaukee County Circuit Court and then for the Honorable Annette Ziegler at the Wisconsin Supreme Court.
Clerking allowed Andrew to aid in the judicial decision-making process while honing his research and writing skills by drafting complex legal memoranda, decisions, orders, and other writings. Andrew served as an articles editor for the Marquette Law Review during law school. He received Marquette Law School’s Silver Quill Award for an article that earned publication in the 100th volume of the Marquette Law Review.
Andrew approaches each day with a relentless drive to serve others with compassion and empathy, to provide exceptional legal services with a deep level of attention to detail, and to continually improve in all aspects of practice. Andrew is an avid music-lover and Wisconsin sports fan who, in his free time, frequents Milwaukee Bucks games, Marquette Basketball games, and concerts of all kinds.

Matt joined the firm in 2022, having begun his career in civil litigation and in-house corporate work. He has handled cases involving complex contractual issues and civil litigation during his practice. Matt began his legal career in high-volume civil litigation focused on class action, collections, and consumer cases.
Following this, Matt joined a small in-house legal team as part of a 500+ employee software company, where he gained valuable experience in contract drafting and negotiation. Wanting to return to litigation, Matt joined a boutique personal injury firm to hone client management and litigation skills, setting him up perfectly for Hildebrand Law Firm.
Matt thoroughly understands that estate planning is one of the most critical areas of personal law. He addresses every client with a clean slate to craft an estate plan that works best for the client and their family. His upbeat, relaxed, and overall positive personality puts clients at ease in often stressful circumstances.
Matt is an avid traveler, sports fan, euchre champion, and mediocre golfer who enjoys spending his free time with his wife and dog and attending many Bucks and Brewers games. In the summer, you’ll see him anywhere that has an outdoor patio and at every festival possible.

Attorney Karen Moore joined Hildebrand Law Firm at the beginning of 2024. Born in Washington, D.C. and raised in the D.C. and New York City areas, she has been a Wisconsin civil litigation attorney for more than 20 years. Her past legal experience includes employment law, family business, torts/personal injury, civil rights (Title VII and Section 1983), and post-divorce family litigation, as well as eviction defense and adult guardianships.
Her focus throughout her career has been litigation motion practice in state and federal courts and agencies. This includes trial and appellate briefing and appeals involving complex legal research, writing, and analysis. She has worked in private and solo practice, in public interest law, and as a contract attorney hired by other lawyers to write legal briefs.
Karen has taught college classes in politics, law, and ethnic studies, both full-time and part-time, in the UW System and at Pacific University-Oregon. University-level subjects she teaches or has taught include Disability Law and Politics, Urban Inequality, American Government, Employment Law, Women in Politics, Civil Rights and Liberties, Law and Society, and Politics of Urban Inequality. She has also served as a legal education specialist in the Division of Extension at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, written successful grant proposals, conducted grant-funded research, and published scholarship relating to the sociopolitical factors shaping individual and group choices and state-local contests over urban spatial development.
Karen has two adult sons who grew up in Shorewood, Wisconsin and, fortunately, still reside and work in the area. She lives near Lake Michigan, where she enjoys long walks with her aging rescue Coonhound, Jack-Zen, and sailing out of McKinley Marina in the summer months.
